Upcycled Earrings – Feather Up
I’m a recycled earring and I used to be a bike tube. While recycling bikes we had a lot of bike-tubes leftover. Instead of throwing them away we chose to be part of the circular economy and made re-used upcycled jewelry. The tubes are collected at local bike shops all over Amsterdam and than cut into these awesome feather earrings! We believe that everything should be made out of used materials so we create a sustainable world with responsible products. Luckily we’re not the only ones, Iamsterdam is now also selling the Chain-up as a recycled souvenir in the Iamsterdam Store (https://www.iamsterdam.com/en/i-amsterdam-store).
After reading this ready to give yourself a recycled present or give this sustainable gift to a friend? Then feel welcome to be part of The upcycle Community by purchasing the Feather Up – Upcycled Earrings!
Materials in the Recycled Earrings – Feather Up
At The upcycle we believe in honesty so that why we add to all our product a list of what it is made of, even though we try to upcycle/recycle as much as we can sometimes we need to buy new materials to make the upcycle products viable for sale. But we’re always looking for new ways to improve our products and if you have a good idea reach out trough our contact form!
The materials used for this Upcycle product are:
- Bike tubes (Upcycled from old bikes)
- Hangers (New)
The Upcycle Store
It’s also possible to come over to our store in the city centre of Amsterdam, Sint Annendwarsstraat 13. A store filled with alle The upcycle products you’ve found online and many more! Because some upcycled products are so diverse of nature (every piece is unique) it’s hard to sell them online. In our store you can go NUTS in buying recycled gifts or just to be inspired how.
